Shipping Japanese maples is our specialty. MrMaple.com only ships within the lower 48 United States during this time of the season. All orders are shipped FedEx Ground. The estimate for shipping time seen during the checkout process is by FedEx Ground once the package leaves our facility. Shipping from our facility may take up to two weeks during peak times. Most of the year we will be shipping the orders from our facility within 5 business days or less.

Here at MrMaple.com we're able to ship out 4 different size boxes. Below is a chart going over how many plants each box can fit.
- Small = 2x 1 Gallon Plants
- Double-Small = 3-4x 1 Gallon Plants
- Medium = 5-8x 1 Gallon Plants || 2x 3 Gallon Plants & Up to 4x 1 Gallon Plants
- Large = 9-12x 1 Gallon Plants || 2x 3 Gallon Large Plants & Up to 8x 1 Gallon Plants
The shipping charges are based on box size and weight, more so on the size.
EX: If you place an order for 5x 1 gallon plants, they will be shipped out in a Medium box which holds up to 8x 1 gallon plants. If you were to purchase another 3x 1 gallon plants to fill up the box the shipping charges would be about the same.

Please make sure your address is correct before the order is placed.
Our system is automated, which means what you type in for your address at the point of sale is what automatically goes on the shipping label. Once an order is shipped, there is $25 change of address fee with FedEx that will be passed on to the customer who typed in the incorrect address.
Due to high volume we now ship every weekday. When Shipping Japanese maples dormant, length of time in shipping is not as important.
Shipping Japanese maples is done by leaving the Japanese maples in the containers and placing a bag around the pot to prevent soil from spilling.
All packaging is done with the utmost care of the maple in mind. When shipping Japanese maples we ship FedEx Home Delivery for individuals and FedEx Ground for businesses. Please give a physical address for delivery and not a P.O. Box.
